26.03.21 – Issue activating Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.9 for Windows (version 3.9.0.1188) #Kedro

Issue

Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.9 for Windows (version 3.9.0.1188) fails to activate with the activation code that is automatically distributed from the Administration Server.

Cause

During activation with the code, the information is sent to the Activation server for verification. The activation server does not respond to requests from Kaspersky Endpoint Agent version 3.9.0.1188 due to an internal error in the application.

Solution

Try one of the following options:

  • Upgrade Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.9 to version 3.10 and try activating it with the activation code once again. To get the Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.10 installer, please contact Kaspersky technical support.
  • Activate Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.9 with the activation key.
